Granite, Natural Stone Setts, Cobbles
Natural stone cobbles have been used in the pavement of early streets since the 15th century and are still retained in historical areas of towns ans cities today. Cobbles are generally rounded and of uneven appearence.
Natural Stone Setts largely replaced cobbles in the 19th century. Setts are even and roughly rectangular. At O’Malley Paving we highly recommend both products as they are beautiful but extremely tough. Cobbled streets built over 2000 years ago are still in use today.
