Walls & Flowerbeds

Walls and flowerbeds are attractive features. Flowerbeds added to your paving will improve or soften the appearance. A raised flowerbed is easy to maintain and can also double as a garden seat.

Walls must be built on a solid foundation. Nowadays, we use a concrete strip footing which is basically a trench filled with mass concrete to a strength of C20 or greater, with reinforcing steel for high, heavy or load-bearing walls.

Prices vary depending on the material chosen to face the wall eg Brick, Natural Stone or Plastering. Walls can be capped to improve the look and can double as seating in your patio area.
